Not going to lie… this was perhaps the most unexpected and mindblowing thing to happen in this project so far. I mean… there has certainly been some media attention around the project over the last 8 months, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d be on the cover of the Toronto Star! It’s shocking! The subsequent media storm and influx of readers, Tweets, Facebook messages and emails has been overwhelming over the last couple days, and I’m only now able to actually take a deep breathe and consume what has actually happened. I have plenty of stories to share about the past couple days, along with my final day at the Beyond the Sea Condos, some other media things and also to address some of the commentary surrounding the project. I promise to make full use of the coming days to fully explore all these things and catch everyone up on what’s going on.
I’ve included an image (and a direct link) to the article in question… Funny thing about the picture, if you go through all of my pictures… ever… this is the first one with a toothy smile. I feel I look goofy when I force a smile for a camera… But it also looks like it was an incidental smile from something the camera guy (Keith) said, because it doesn’t look like my forced camera attempted smile. Needless to say, I have to thank Alex from the Toronto Star for taking the time to learn all about my project and to cover it!

PS. What an unfortunate headline to follow in the image below haha.
